The Olympics and Refresh 2012

In 2012 the Olympics are coming to Portland and Weymouth. There will be thousands of visitors from all around the world, and we will be being watched by millions. This is an important event in the lives of all those of us living here We’ve seen the preparations in the town especially on the roads, but now is the time for us to think beyond that to the opportunities we now have for Mission – sharing the love of God in Weymouth, Portland beyond.. to the ends of the earth!

Mar22nd - Lunch by invitation for Church Leaders at the National Sailing Academy

Mar 20th – 29th Spring into life – with Saltmine Theatre Company in Primary Schools

May 23-29 Week of Prayer and action

Prayer meetings, prayer walking, prayer concerts around the area – and time to begin your church’s "Season of Service" in your community!

June 26 Songs of Praise, Greenhill Gardens

July 10 Churches Together - Open Air service Portland Churches Together - Portland

16-17 Tent/display at Steam Festival in Chickerell

Aug 25-29 – Refresh mini-festival – kids club, family events, Songs of Praise, concert, Worship together, Barn dance, BBQ etc.....
