Leaders Moving On
Adrian Bulley will be leaving at the end of October. He has decided that it is right to move on from the role of Synod Moderator and will become the Minister of City United Reformed Church in Cardiff. He says:‘ I have greatly appreciated the ecumenical contacts which I have been able to make during what will be very nearly nine years in post’. A Nominating Group will be convened and we will be consulted as part of the process. We thank Adrian for always being supportive of collaborative working and ecumenical opportunities, as well as the imaginative specific posts created and supported during his time here particularly in Poole.
Christine Webb, our Salvation Army leader link, will also be moving on, and rather further to a posting in Papua New Guinea. She and husband Neil will take up their work there on 1st June. An Acting Divisional Commander will be in place till a successor is appointed. We have enjoyed a warm relationship with Chris and appreciated her encouragement for working and serving together in the county, particularly recently with the police initiatives.
We wish them both well, whatever the future holds for them.
