Three Faiths Forum in Hampshire and Dorset

The Three Faiths Forum is a well established national organisation committed to developing dialogue between Muslims, Jews and Christians and the regional branch of the Forum provides an active local dimension of this work.

The recent terrorist threat is designed to divide us, sowing fear, hatred and suspicion in our communities. We are committed to overcoming this threat by working together to promote the true values of our respective monotheistic faiths, our belief in the integrity of all life, respect for each other in trhe development of peaceful, harmonious relations in our communities and the utter rejection of any form of violence.

We are ready to respond to any questions that the press or the public have arising from the current level of anxiety brought about by the terrorist activities of last week.

Please let me know if you have any concerns about the current situation which you would like the Three Faiths Forum to address or suggestions for further action. I have had one immediate request for a radio interview. The current crisis represents one of the reasons for our forum's very existence and we are now well placed to help in a number of ways when called upon to do so.
